Fetching Data
seeDATA are a creative digital agency based in Exeter, Devon. We work with branding, design, websites and software and provide solutions across a broad spectrum of media.

We wanted to try something new, interesting and fun for our staff so we created the 'One Day Wonder'. In just one day, our staff all work together to bring a project from conception to completion using all of our skill-sets and expertise.

The Met Office is the UK's National Weather Service. It uses more than 10 million weather observations a day to create accurate and reliable weather readings around the world. They have published climate data for the UK from 1910 onwards, including temperature, sunshine and frost. We chose to develop a platform to visually represent rainfall data, broken down between months and years.

With this site, we hope to bring a focus on something so close to our hearts here in the UK. We've taken raw data and transformed it into something visual and easy to use. We can now see rainfall levels from different time periods and pick up on trends that have developed over a century.
